Datadog at AWS Re:Invent 2019

For the Datadog conference at AWS re: Invent 2019, I took the task of elevating the established visual system to new heights, weaving a cohesive and captivating narrative across both print and digital collaterals. Building upon the foundation set by my predecessor, I delved into the intricacies of each category— "Engage," "Experience," "Mingle," "Compete," "Win," and "Learn."

 

The challenge was to harmonize these elements into a visually striking abstract pattern that captured the essence of the event. My approach involved meticulously examining each element, seeking connections and complementary relationships. The result was a unique and dynamic main visual that seamlessly combined and evolved the established elements into a captivating abstract pattern. For each specific category, I utilized our pre-established elements, intertwining and resizing them to craft distinctive patterns that represented the category and contributed to the overall visual tapestry of the conference.

 

This project was a testament to the power of thoughtful design in enhancing the identity and impact of a major event like AWS re:Invent.
